Click play below for a sneak peak of Roman’s performance! Come watch him live every Wednesday from 7 PM until 10 PM.

With his father playing the organ in the background, a six year-old Roman began his lifelong love for music. Roman’s father would constantly ask Roman to sing along for family and friends, especially on Christmas time. These living room performances were only the beginning of his early singing experiences because by 4th grade, his British born teacher recruited him for her newly formed school choir and immersed him in the music of the Beatles. Roman spent the next two years in the school choir, but did not return to the stage until he became involved in what he calls a bad rendition of “Guys and Dolls”.

Roman would not perform again until 1996 when he discovered The Red Fox Room at the Old Lafayette Hotel in San Diego. It was here that he met an incredible artist/pianist whose grace and style would knock him off his feet and inspire him to pursue a career in music. This incredible artist was Shirley Allen who was accompanied by the very talented Dave Shaw and Mark Mullen (Shirley’s son), who performed the rhythm section. Roman spent the next two years learning from, performing with, and perfecting his craft with this group in a variety of nightclubs, bars and restaurants throughout
the San Diego area. In 1999, Roman landed on the Vegas Strip where he began to develop and perfect his Rat-Packish style. Then, he went onto New York, Florida, Cancun… and he never stopped!

Roman’s vocal styling, delivery and phrasing are reminiscent of the greats: Frank Sinatra, Bing Crosby, Dean Martin, Luciano Pavorotti, and Andrea Bocelli. His presence is commanding. His voice is smooth, cool, powerful and refined. His undeniable charisma, style, charm and comedic sense of timing are something that must be experienced to truly be appreciated. Roman is the true definition of artist, musician and entertainer. In Two Words, SIMPLY AMAZING! Better yet, he is accompanied by renown pianist Tommy Ganon, one of the most versatile pianists in of all San Diego.

Roman and pianist Tommy Ganon have been performing live at Manhattan of La Jolla for the past 2 years.

Come see them live next Wednesday from 7 PM until 10 PM.
